Goodbye to 2009!!!

Wow what a year! 2009 held some great memorable events and some hard times as well but God has brought us through and made us even stronger than before. Well most of you know that we are embarking on selling our current house and finally buying the house of our dreams. Many of you saw the pics posted to FB before I decided to remove them when our first deal went through (b/c our house hadn't sold yet) and for much of the later part of this year that is what has consumed LOTS of our time! Well this year was one of LOTS of changes for me personally. In June I decided to leave my job at the OB clinic to return to school full time. As many of you know I am not a creature of change so this was a HUGE decision for me. But once it was made I've never looked back and am so thankful that God had this in store for me! I'm on my way to accomplishing my dreams!!!

School has been wonderful thus far I have completed one semester and am loving it! Studying lots and lots of long hours but in the end it was worth it when I claimed a spot on the Deans List :). My best friend Sara delivered her first baby this year and though I have not gotten the chance to meet her yet she's beautiful and she's got some of the greatest parents I know! My other bestie is expecting a delivery in Jan of 2010 (congrats Mishi and Jason) and my other ones the Hintz are expecting in June 2010. God is soooo good and so abundant in his blessings.

I have other friendships that have just grown and prospered in 2010 and I'm so very thankful for those friendships. Joy, Heather, Stacey I absolutely love you girls! You guys have been the biggest encouragers with all my changes this year! Thanks ladies!

2010 holds births and weddings!! YAY!!! My brother in law got engaged to Laura Kate on Christmas Day.... We are sooo thrilled for them and for years have already thought of LK as part of our family! So the Akin's will be having a wedding in Sept 2010 and I couldn't be happier for the pair of them! Tanner will be the ring bearer again and I'm looking forward to seeing my hubby all dolled up (he's quite a hottie and he's even more of a hottie in a monkey suit :) )

Thank you Lord for your abundant blessings and I just ask that you would watch over and keep all those special people mentioned above in your hands and bless them in this new coming year! We thank you ahead of time for all that you would have for us in 2010!
